Cisco Systems® announces the availability of the CiscoWorks Network Connectivity Monitor 1.0 (NCM). In a Cisco® network, CiscoWorks NCM provides network administrators with tools to pinpoint connectivity problems in real time and identify their impact on the network. Existing CiscoWorks Device Fault Manager (DFM) and/or the CiscoWorks IP Telephony Environment Monitor (ITEM) products can work in combination with CiscoWorks NCM to provide analysis information on device status, IP telephony health, and network connectivity.
- Automated network connectivity and impact analysisProvides automated network-wide connectivity and impact analysis for Cisco® networks by identifying service-affecting problems, including the impact on interrelated logical and physical device connectivity.
