Entities included in the organization’s sustainability reporting
Each year, an independent third party provides a limited assurance review of select GHG, water, and waste inventories. This review is Scope 1 and 2 GHG inventory is conducted in accordance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14064-3:2019 International Standard. After the review is completed, we update the emissions data in the Purpose Reporting Hub and related disclosures to align with the assurance statements. The scope of the review includes all Scope 1 and Scope 2 emission sources, Scope 3 emissions from some categories, including purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution, downstream transportation and distribution, and end of life treatment of sold products. The GHG, water, and waste inventories apply to all owned and leased facilities under Cisco’s operational control.
