In 2015, Cisco launched the Country Digital Acceleration (CDA) program to help meet that need. For the past decade, CDA has worked to turn bold national digital ambitions into real, measurable impact.
We are dedicated to connecting the unconnected and enabling digital upskilling initiatives that empower generations to come. By co-developing and scaling innovative projects with our partners, CDA helps countries modernize their economies, boost gross domestic product (GDP), create new jobs, and unlock opportunities for everyone to participate in the digital era.

In 2025, we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the CDA program — a milestone reflecting the dedication, innovation, and passion that drive our mission to create lasting, positive change at scale.
To date, CDA has more than 1,700 active or completed projects across 56 countries, demonstrating the power of partnership and innovation in shaping a more inclusive and resilient digital future.
