Check OpenRoaming Activation

After configuring the controller-based network or Meraki network, confirm activation before client testing.

Procedure

Step 1

In Cisco Spaces, check the OpenRoaming activation status on the OpenRoaming dashboard.

Step 2

For Catalyst 9800 and AireOS deployments, confirm that the hotspot-enabled connector remains Running and that the controller remains associated with the OpenRoaming profile.

Step 3

For Cisco Meraki deployments, confirm that pilot clients appear under Network-wide > Clients in Meraki Dashboard after testing.

Step 4

For Cisco Meraki deployments, verify that Cisco Spaces API changes were pushed to Meraki by reviewing Organization > Monitor > Change Log.
