Under the Federal Communications (FCC) authorization, installation of the CW9174E, whether within a weatherized enclosure or without and enclosure, does not modify or extend the authorized operating conditions defined by the applicable FCC grant.
For 6 GHz operation under FCC rules, this device operates as a Low Power Indoor (LPI) access point and is restricted to indoor use only.

Installation considerations (FCC)
For FCC installations, 6 GHz operation remains permitted only where explicitly authorized under the applicable FCC regulatory certification and installation conditions, including any AFC coordination requirements for Standard Power operation.
Any 6 GHz operation outside the scope of the FCC-certified authorization is not permitted.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
