Guidelines and limitations

This section lists the guidelines and limitations for this release of Cisco EPN Manager.

●     When provisioning unsupported alien wavelengths such as CIM8-C-K9 through Cisco Transport Controller, Cisco EPN Manager shows the alien wavelength and TxP control mode correctly. However, the trunk rate and Forward Error Correction (FEC) mode may show default values rather than the configured settings.

●     It is recommended to use general descriptive text when adding interface descriptions via the CLI and to avoid terms that are also CLI parameters, such as "rate" or "clock," as these may interfere with internal parsing logic and impact visibility. This approach ensures that ports and interface data continue to be displayed in Cisco EPN Manager.
