Procedure

  1. From the Meraki Dashboard, add Catalyst Center as a new organization:

    1. On the Global Overview page, under Organizations, click Add organizations and choose Add Catalyst Center as an organization.
    2. On the Add Organization dialog box, provide these details:

      • Cloud hosting region: Choose a cloud-hosting region.

      • Organization name for the Catalyst Center: Enter an organization name.

      • Catalyst Center IP address or FQDN: Enter the IP address or the FQDN for your Catalyst Center.

      • Catalyst Center Member ID: Enter your Catalyst Center member ID.

        Tip

        To view your Catalyst Center member ID:

        1. From Catalyst Center, in the top-right portion of the window, click the help icon and choose About.

        2. Click Member ID.

    3. Click Add Organization.

      The Connect Catalyst Center dialog box displays a successful creation message and provides instructions on how to connect the Meraki Dashboard with Catalyst Center.

  2. From Catalyst Center, register your Catalyst Center with Cisco Catalyst Cloud:

    1. From the main menu, choose System > Settings > External Services > Integrations via Cisco Catalyst Cloud.
    2. On the Integrations via Cisco Catalyst Cloud page, click Register.
    3. On the Activate your device pop-up window, click Next to continue.
      Note

      The Activation code field is prepopulated.

    4. On the Sign in pop-up window, sign in to your Cisco account.
      Your Catalyst Center is registered, and the registration status on displayed.
    5. Click on Registered status to open the Cloud registration status slide-in pane for the registration information.
    6. To add new services after registration is confirmed, click the Browse tab to view available third-party applications.
      Note

      Click Un-register to unregister the Cisco Catalyst Center with Cisco Catalyst Cloud.

  3. On the Integrate with Cisco Catalyst Cloud page, under Applications, locate the Meraki Dashboard tile and click Activate to connect Catalyst Center with the Meraki Dashboard.

    The system displays a green check mark with the word "Activated" in the top-right corner of the Meraki Dashboard tile, indicating a successful connection.

  4. From the Meraki Dashboard, refresh the Global Overview page to view the integrated Catalyst Center data.
