New and changed information
This table summarizes the new and changed features for this release.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Independent ITSM Integration for AutomationWorkflows |
With this release, you can choose to enable or disable ITSM integration for Group Based Policy, Network Provisioning or SWIM automation workflows, independent of each other, while configuring the automation bundle. See Configure the automation events for ITSM (ServiceNow) bundle. |
Closed Loop Automation for Assurance Events |
This release supports closed loop automation for assurance events between Catalyst Center and ServiceNow. When an assurance event or issue is ignored or resolved in Catalyst Center, an update is sent to ServiceNow irrespective of the endpoint (Event Management/REST API Endpoint/Generic REST API Endpoint) configured in the Network Issue Monitor and Enrichment for ITSM bundle. See Configure the network issue monitor and enrichment for ITSM (ServiceNow) bundle. |
Name Change to Catalyst Center |
As part of our vision to converge our products around an integrated platform, we are changing the name of Cisco DNA Center to Catalyst Center in this release. The capability and functionality of Catalyst Center remains the same as Cisco DNA Center. |
Name Change to Cisco Catalyst App |
The Cisco DNA app on the ServiceNow Store is rebranded as Cisco Catalyst from app version 2.3.1 onwards. The previous versions of the app are still called Cisco DNA, and you can continue using them with the corresponding release versions of Catalyst Center. |
ITSM Integration API |
This release supports a new ITSM Integration API to retrieve the ITSM integration status. For more information, see ITSM Integration API in the Cisco Catalyst Center Release Notes. |
