Enable Bluetooth on SPA525G/SPA525G2 IP Phone

Objective

The objective of this document is to explain how to enable the Bluetooth feature on the SPA525G IP Phone. The Bluetooth can be used to connect a cell phone to the SPA525G/SPA525G2. The SPA525G/SPA525G2 can be used as a Bluetooth Hands free for the cell phone; cell phone contacts can also be transferred to the SPA525G if that feature is provided by the cell phone.

Enable Bluetooth.

Step 1. Press the Setup button on the phone. The Information and Settings menu appears.

 

 

Step 2. Use the navigation keys and scroll down to User Preferences. Press the Select softkey.

Step 3. Use the navigation keys and scroll down to Bluetooth. Press the Select softkey. The Bluetooth Configuration menu appears.

Step 4. With the Bluetooth option selected, press the Right Arrow navigation key until a blue check mark appears.

Step 5. Press the Set softkey to save the desired settings or press the Back softkey to cancel settings and go back to the previous menu.
