Understand the licensing requirements for Firewall Migration Manager and the Firewall Management Center.
While the Firewall Migration Manager is free and does not need a license, ensure that you must meet these licensing requirements:

Firewall Threat Defense devices must have required entitlements for the features that you plan to use.
The feature licenses can be Essentials, Malware, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Carrier, URL Filtering, or Secure Client licenses.

If you have a virtual Firewall Management Center, you must have a license for Firewall Management Center Virtual.
The required number of Firewall Management Center Virtual licenses depends on how many devices it manages.
