P-5GS6-RC-GL is a 3GPP Pluggable Interface Module (PIM) designed for low-performance and cost-sensitive 5G applications. It utilizes the Cisco EM8695 Reduced Capability (RedCap) cellular modem to provide 5G-SA RedCap and 4G LTE connectivity.

The P-5GS6-RC-GL PIM provides an affordable, future-proof 5G connectivity solution for primary or secondary WAN applications, maintaining full feature parity with other existing Cisco 5G PIMs and routers.

The P-5GS6-RC-GL PIM provides only 5G-SA RedCap connectivity when offered by cellular base stations, not 5G NSA or SA. It falls back to 4G when 5G-SA RedCap is not available.
