Two Versions Offered

The HWICS provide single-port DOCSIS connectivity for the Cisco IAD2430 Integrated Access Device and select Cisco 1841, 2800 Series, and 3800 Series Integrated Services Routers to a cable operator's WAN.

Two versions are offered, designed to DOCSIS 2.0 or Euro/J-DOCSIS 2.0 specifications. These cable HWICs, combined with the Cisco products, provide high-speed digital data transmission between customer premises equipment, the cable headend, and a central office.
