Cisco announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco Ultra Traffic Optimization (CUTO). The last day to order the affected product(s) is November 5, 2026. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available under the terms and conditions of customers' service contract.

CUTO is an Opanga OEM product. We have used Opanga’s library in our PGW (Integrated) solution or deployed Opanga’s software directly on standalone servers. The Provider Connectivity Assurance Business Unit (BU) also uses Opanga’s software for their User Experience solution. Given the overlap in similar solutions, we have decided to move with the PCA BU UE solution.
Migrating standalone CUTO deployments to PCA UE is straightforward. There are no field changes, but during a customer renewal, they will need to use PCA BU’s PIDs.
