Q.  What is Cisco Cloud Control?
A.   Cisco Cloud Control is a unified, AI-native management platform that converges identity, governance, and topology across every IT domain (compute, networking, observability, and security), enabling governed, agentic execution at scale.
Q.  What is AI Canvas/AI Assistant?
A.   AI Canvas is a multiplayer, generative workspace where human operators and AI agents collaborate to investigate and resolve cross-domain issues.
AI Assistant is a natural language interface that provides context-aware guidance across domains and escalates complex issues into AI Canvas.
Q.  Do you have to purchase them separately from Intersight?
A.   No. Cisco Cloud Control and AI Canvas are included in the subscription licenses for eligible Cisco products, including Cisco Intersight, available in both Essentials and Advantage tiers.
Q.  When can current Intersight users start using Cisco Control Cloud, AI Canvas, and AI Assistant (that is, when will these be generally available)?
A.   Controlled Availability (CA) for Intersight integration targeted for July 2026.
Q.  What are the primary tasks I can accomplish using the AI Assistant in my daily operations?
A.   The AI Assistant serves as your natural language interface to streamline daily operations. You can use it to:

     Query device inventory and health: quickly retrieve status updates and configuration details across your infrastructure

     Access product documentation: obtain immediate, context-aware guidance without leaving your workflow

     Analyze infrastructure performance: monitor metrics and health status to maintain operational awareness

     Assess infrastructure impact on applications: evaluate how your current infrastructure state influences application performance, helping you identify and resolve bottlenecks faster

Q.  How will the integration with Cisco Cloud Control change my daily Intersight workflow?
A.   The integration upgrades your daily Intersight experience by transforming it into a more powerful, cross-domain command center. It enriches your compute management by seamlessly pulling in data from adjacent Cisco platforms—such as networking and security—giving you a more complete picture of your infrastructure health.
For those using multiple Cisco tools, this effectively eliminates "dashboard hopping." Instead of manually switching between interfaces to reconcile data, you get a single, unified view. When issues arise, you can investigate and resolve them within one persistent platform, using shared context and AI-powered collaboration to spend less time on manual coordination and more time on high-impact resolution.
Q.  Will I need to perform any manual migration or re-configuration to connect my current Intersight environment to AI Canvas?
A.   No, the integration is native to the platform. You will gain access as the rollout progresses.
Q.  How does the "multiplayer" workspace in AI Canvas improve team collaboration during incident response?
A.   It allows multiple operators and AI agents to work in a single, shared, live session, helping to ensure that persistent context is preserved across team handoffs and escalations.
Q.  Will my existing Essentials or Advantage tier licenses of Intersight provide access to these new AI capabilities?
A.   Yes, these features are included in both tiers.
Q.  How does the AI Assistant handle data privacy and security when querying my infrastructure logs and documentation?
A.   The platform utilizes a centralized AI gateway (middleware layer) that manages model routing, data governance, and policy enforcement to ensure enterprise-grade security.
Q.  Is the Cisco Cloud Control integration available for the Intersight Virtual Appliance?
A.   No, the Cisco Cloud Control integration is designed for the Intersight SaaS platform, and there is no support for the Intersight Virtual Appliance at this time.
Q.  Where can I go to provide feedback or request new skills for the AI Assistant within Intersight?
A.   Please use the feedback mechanisms provided directly within the Intersight or Cisco Cloud Control interface.
