Karen Chan is an Education Architect in the Industry Solutions Engineering team at Cisco. She has also worked as a technical marketing engineer in the Retail group on the Cisco PCI for Retail solution as well as in the Financial Services group on the Cisco Digital Image Management solution. Prior to Cisco, she spent 11 years in software development and testing, including leading various test teams at Citrix Systems, Orbital Data, and Packeteer, to validate software and hardware functions on their WAN optimization and application acceleration products. She holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
