Meet-Me Number/Pattern Configuration
Meet-Me conferences require an allocation of directory numbers. Cisco CallManager Administration provides the Meet-Me conference directory number range to users, so they can access the feature.
This section describes the following procedures:

Adding a Meet-Me Number/Pattern
This section describes how to add a Meet-Me Number/Pattern.
Before You Begin
Make sure the following prerequisites are met before proceeding with the steps:
•
Configure the servers. See the "Server Configuration" section.
•
Configure the device pools. See the "Device Pool Configuration" section.
Procedure
Step 1
Choose Feature > Meet-Me Number/Pattern.
The Meet-Me Number/Pattern Configuration window displays.
Step 2
From the Meet-Me Number/Patterns list, click Add a New Directory Number/Pattern.
Step 3
Enter the appropriate settings as described in Table 36-1.
Step 4
Click Insert.
The window refreshes, and the new Meet-Me Number/Pattern appears in the list on the left side of the window.

Updating a Meet-Me Number/Pattern
This section describes how to update a Meet-Me Number/Pattern.
Before You Begin
Make sure the following prerequisites are met before proceeding with the steps:
•
Configure the servers. See the "Server Configuration" section.
•
Configure the device pools. See the "Device Pool Configuration" section.
•
Configure the meet-me number/pattern. See the "Adding a Meet-Me Number/Pattern" section.
Procedure
Step 1
Choose Feature > Meet-Me Number/Pattern.
The Meet-Me Number/Pattern Configuration window displays.
Step 2
From the Meet-Me Numbers/Patterns list, choose the Meet-Me Number/Pattern that you want to update.
The pattern that you chose appears in the Directory Number or Pattern field.
Step 3
Update the appropriate settings as described in Table 36-1.
Note
You can change the number or pattern as needed (example, changing 5000 to 500X).
Step 4
Click Update.
The window refreshes, and the pattern updates.

This section describes how to delete a Meet-Me Number/Pattern.
Before You Begin
Make sure the following prerequisites are met before proceeding with the steps:

Configure the servers.

Configure the device pools.
•
Configure the meet-me number/pattern.
Procedure
Step 1
Choose Feature > Meet-Me Number/Pattern.
The Meet-Me Number/Pattern Configuration window displays.
Step 2
From the Meet-Me Numbers/Patterns list, choose the Meet-Me Number/Pattern you want to delete.
Step 3
Click Delete.

Meet-Me Number/Pattern Configuration Settings
Table 36-1 describes the meet-me number/pattern configuration settings.

Directory Number or Pattern

Enter a Meet-Me Numbers/pattern or a range of numbers (such as 8000 to 8009).

Partition
|
To use a partition to restrict access to the meet-me/number pattern, choose the desired partition from the drop-down list box.
If you do not want to restrict access to the meet-me number/pattern, choose <None> for the partition. See the "Partition Configuration" section for more information.
If more than 250 partitions exist, the ellipsis (...) button displays next to the drop-down list box. Click the ... button to display the Select Partition window. Enter a partial partition name in the List items where Name contains field. Click the desired partition name in the list of partitions that displays in the Select item to use box and click OK.
Note Make sure that the combination of meet-me number/pattern and partition is unique within the Cisco CallManager cluster.
