Installing Cisco CallManager Multilevel Administration Access
Multilevel administration access installs on Cisco CallManager version 3.2 or later database publisher and subscriber(s) servers. Multilevel administration access installation creates a separate multilevel administration access database. This database gets replicated from the publisher to the subscribers on which multilevel administration access is installed. For failover of the Cisco CallManager Administration and Serviceability pages with multilevel administration access, ensure that multilevel administration access is installed separately on the subscriber servers.
If the multilevel administration access database on the publisher server is down, multilevel administration access makes connection to the subscriber local multilevel administration access database with read-only access, and no modification to the multilevel administration access database can occur.
Multilevel administration access installation sets up the CCMAdmin and CCMService virtual directories with Anonymous Access for the Local NT administrator.
This section describes how to install the multilevel administration access on a user PC.
Note
After downloading the multilevel administration access executable, install it on the database publisher server. If redundancy is desired, install the executable on one or more subscriber servers.
