Feature Description

This release supports the categorization of the number of default bearers and dedicated bearers deleted due to idle or inactivity timeout.

Under P-GW and APN statistics, a counter is added to count the number of default bearers that are deleted due to idle or inactivity timeout.

The following CLI commands are modified to display the default bearer count values:

  • show apn statistics all

  • show pgw-service statistics all

  • show saegw-service statistics all function pgw

Session Recovery and ICSR

In case of session recovery, the bearer inactivity timeout is restarted. The existing dedicated and default bearer idle inactivity statistics are reset to zero with no checkpointing of data.

P-GW Schema:

sessstat-bearrel-def-idle-inact

The total number of P-GW default bearers released due to an idle or bearer inactivity timeout.

Increments when a P-GW default bearer is released due to idle or bearer inactivity timeout per P-GW service.

SAEGW Schema:

pgw-sessstat-bearrel-def-idle-inact

The total number of P-GW anchored or GGSN anchored non-GBR default bearers released due to idle or bearer inactivity timeout.

Increments when a P-GW anchored or GGSN anchored default bearer is released due to idle or bearer inactivity timeout per SAEGW service.

APN Schema:

relbear-def-idle-inact

The total number of default bearers released due to idle or bearer inactivity timeout.

Increments when a default bearer is released due to idle or bearer inactivity timeout per APN.

Show Commands and Output

Use the following commands to verify the default and dedicated bearer values for idle or inactivity timeout.

  • The show saegw-service statistics all function pgw command displays the Default Bearer Released due to Idle-Inactivity timeout value.

    The following is a sample output:
