Cisco IW Monitor, Release 2.2.0

Cisco IW Monitor Release 2.2.0 is focused on User management enhancement including few more significant enhancements.

Cisco Industrial Wireless (IW) Monitor, an on-premises monitoring tool for maintaining and monitoring one or multiple Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul (URWB) networks. IW Monitor displays data and situational alerts from every URWB device in a network in real-time. IW Monitor is a virtual-image-based diagnostic and analysis interface, with the virtual image installed in Docker format to monitor Fluidmesh and Industrial Wireless devices. IW Service allows you to configure and provision the IW devices, whereas IW Monitor displays real-time data and alerts for URWB devices in the network.

Enforced Strong Password Policy for Users

The newly enforced password policy requires that passwords:

●  Contain at least one number, one letter, and one special character.
●  Cannot include three consecutive characters in either forward or reverse order.
●  Cannot contain the same character three times in a row.
●  Cannot be a variant of "Cisco" or "Admin".
●  Cannot be the same as the user's email or the portion before the @ symbol.
●  Are checked against an internal list to prevent the use of compromised passwords.

User management enhancements

The user roles Viewmode and Admin are added for user management.

●  Viewmode users have read-only access to the Monitor.
●  Admin users can do all the operations in the Monitor.

Introduced Maximum TX Power value

Now the maximum TX power value shows the user-defined value for each entry in the Table view along with TX power value which shows current value of the radio device's transmission power.

Upgrade

Configure maximum devices for a section

You can set the maximum number of devices that can be included in a section. The default value for each section is 200 devices.
