Install and Configure Enterprise Chat and Email
Enterprise Chat and Email (ECE) is an optional feature that provides chat and email functionality to the contact center. Packaged CCE supports installing ECE either on box or off box. On-box installation is supported on the B200 M4, C240 M4SX and C240 M5SX hardware only.
Deploy the ECE Web Server on an external server. You can place that server either in the same data center as the ECE Data Server or in a DMZ if customer chat interactions require that.
Use the Packaged-CCE-ECE.ova file to create a virtual machine for an on-box ECE. For information about creating a virtual machine, see Create a Virtual Machine from the OVA.
