You can copy a file—such as a configuration
file—to save it or reuse it at another location. If your internal file systems are
corrupted, you could potentially lose your configuration. Save and back up your
configuration files periodically. Also, before installing or migrating to a new
software configuration, back up the existing configuration files.

dir command to
ensure that enough space is available in the destination file system. If enough
space is not available, use the
delete command
to remove unneeded files.
