Cisco Stack Automation by Quali is a deployment automation platform co-developed by Cisco and Quali, and offered exclusively by Cisco. It is designed to simplify the Day 0-1 infrastructure and ecosystem software experience by shifting from manual, component-based configuration to a fully automated, cloud-like deployment model. This approach enables faster time-to-value, allowing users to achieve results in hours rather than weeks.
The platform supports two primary deployment scopes:
· Software-only: Automates provisioning and configuration of individual software layers, including Cisco products such as Nexus Dashboard, Intersight, and Splunk, as well as third-party and ISV applications such as NVIDIA NIMs, OpenShift, and Qumulo.
· Full-stack solutions: Provides turnkey, pre-validated solutions (e.g., AI PODs and Splunk PODs) that orchestrate the entire stack—networking, compute, storage, and software layers—in a single, unified workflow.
Cisco Stack Automation integrates natively with Cisco products and leverages Cisco Validated Designs and best practices to deliver a cloud-like experience on-premises. The platform is available free for deploying validated Cisco and third-party solutions on UCS and hybrid cloud infrastructure, with optional subscriptions for advanced customization using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and agentic AI tools.
Key benefits include accelerated deployment times, operational reliability through embedded validation, enterprise flexibility with customizable blueprints, and scalability for hybrid and AI initiatives. It acts as a high-velocity accelerator for initial deployment phases, handing off ongoing management to existing Cisco platforms such as Intersight and Nexus Dashboard.

Browser compatibility
The Cisco Stack Automation UI is intended to be compatible with the most recent desktop version of most common browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. In most cases, compatibility will extend one version behind their most recent release.
While not designed for compatibility with mobile devices, most mobile browsers are still able to render the majority of Stack Automation UI. However, using the above-listed browsers on a desktop or laptop is recommended. Mobile browsers aren’t officially supported by Stack Automation.
