These release notes summarize the enhancements in Cisco Business Dashboard AI Assistant, version 3.1.

The AI Assistant helps users consult product documentation, understand network conditions, and investigate problems. Release 3.1 adds device and network operations and scheduled jobs.

Description
Device and Network Operations

Supports operations on an individual device or at the network level. Available operations include:

  • Upgrade firmware to the latest version.

  • Back up configuration.

  • Restore configuration.

  • Save running configuration.

  • Reboot.

  • Collect tech-support information.
Scheduled Jobs

Supports tasks scheduled to run once and tasks configured to run periodically, enabling users to plan one-time activities and recurring operations.

System Requirements

Customers need to ensure they have met the following prerequisites to use the AI Assistant:

  • Internet connectivity for both the browser and the Cisco Business Dashboard or Cisco Business Dashboard Lite server. Without it, the assistant icon is unavailable.

  • A Cisco, Google, or Apple account. See Cisco account registration information.
