| CSCww04628 | MS cannot upgrade from 2025.06 to 2025.09 |
Direct upgrades from Cisco BroadWorks Media Server (MS) Release 2025.06_1.254 to Release 2025.09 or later are not supported. During the upgrade process, the configuration agent encounters validation errors due to missing configuration elements. Those errors prevent the upgrade from finalizing and trigger an automatic reversion to the previous software release.
This limitation is specific to Cisco BroadWorks MS Release 2025.06_1.254. Due to this issue, the affected software has been removed from the Cisco Software Download Center to prevent further deployment.
During the upgrade process, the configuration agent encounters and reports validation errors regarding missing configuration elements. As a result, the installation stops unexpectedly and the system automatically reverts to the previous release.
