Problem Description

Cisco Nexus N9K-X9716D-GX V05 Line Cards do not boot and will go into power down or inserted state.

The following Cisco ACI releases are affected:

15.1(2e)
15.1(3e)
15.1(4c)

Background

Component changes in Cisco Nexus N9K-X9716D-GX Line Cards will require all customers to upgrade to Cisco ACI Release 15.2(1g) or later, which contains the fix for CSCwj22703.

Problem Symptom

The module will fail to boot or remain in an inserted state.

Workaround/Solution

Upgrade Cisco ACI Software to Release 15.2(1g) or later.

This field notice applies only to versions 05 and later of Cisco N9K-X9716D-GX when running one of the following Cisco ACI Releases:

15.1(4c)

To check the product ID (PID) and the corresponding serial number (SN) of a line card, enter the following command:
