CSCvu93461 | Umbrella DDTS for NCS4K FCC Acbel DC PSU support |
DC Power Supply Units (PSUs) used on Network Convergence System (NCS) 4000 Series Fabric Card Chassis (FCC), that run on Cisco IOS® XR Software Release 6.5.26, will be detected and will have no functional anomalies. However, Field Programmable Device (FPD) related aspects will not function.
The FPDs of an affected DC PSU have an incorrect hardware version calculation.
The output of the show hw-module fpd
command will display "NOT READY" for the PSU's FPDs.
Check the serial number of the DC PSU as described in the How To Identify Affected Products section. If the serial number of the DC PSU starts with ATT, Cisco recommends to install the provided Software Maintenance Upgrade (SMU).
Note: The SMU is only for a DC PSU with a serial number that starts with ATT, is installed in the NCS 4000 FCC, and runs Cisco IOS XR Software Release 6.5.26.
