Cisco announces the end-of-life dates for the Cisco Wireless Software Version 8.10.

No patches or maintenance releases will be provided for Cisco Wireless Software Versions 8.10 beyond May 1, 2023, and only security/PSIRT fixes will be provided until January 2025.

Please note that this includes the software support for Cisco Mobility Express (ME) Software for Aironet Access Points.

Cisco Wireless Software Version 8.10 is the last Supported version for following wireless products.

      End-of-Life Announcement for 8540 Wireless Controller (EoLA).

      End-of-Life Announcement for Virtual Wireless Controller (EoLA).

Product migration options

Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers.
