Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the first production versions of the Cisco 12000 Series One-Port OC-192 POS Line Card and Cisco 12000 Series Four-Port OC-48 POS Line Card. Both line cards have been replaced with newer versions based on the Enhanced Services engine that provides additional features and performance. The last day to order the first production versions of the Cisco 12000 Series One-Port OC-192 POS Line Card and Cisco 12000 Series Four-Port OC-48 POS Line Card is November 10, 2002.
Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the first production versions of the Cisco 12000 Series One-Port OC-192 POS Line Card and Cisco 12000 Series Four-Port OC-48 POS Line Card. Both line cards. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
