Cisco announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco Meeting Server 2000 M6. The last day to order the affected product(s) is December 31, 2025. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available under the terms and conditions of customers' service contract.
The Cisco Meeting Server 2000 ( or CMS 2000) M6 utilizes Intel M6 chipsets and the UCS 5108 chassis, both of which have been superseded. As a result, CMS 2000 M6 will be the final hardware version offered in the CMS 2000 series. There is no direct hardware replacement available for the CMS 2000 M6. This notice applies only to the CMS 2000 M6 hardware. The CMS conferencing application is not affected by this announcement.

Customers requiring high port capacity should consider the Cisco Meeting Server Medium Series hardware. A new version featuring the AMD processor will be made available and can be used as a replacement for existing CMS 2000 deployments.
Please note the following when planning to order the CMS Medium M8:
1. The CMS Medium M8 does not utilize a CCW ordering bundle.
2. This is the first platform to run the CMS application on AMD-based processors and supports running the CMS application natively, without the need for a hypervisor.
