Overview

Webex Calling customers on Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan can now self-serve to upgrade their eligible IP phones to multi-platform firmware, effectively enabling Webex Calling call control. This means the requirement to add A-FLEX-E2MPP within CCW and open a case with Global Licensing Operations (GLO) is eliminated with this self-serve method.

Customers and partners who are using Cisco IP Phone 7800 and 8800 series can migrate their eligible phones to Multiplatform Phone (MPP) firmware for use with Cisco Webex Calling, using a new, simple online tool. For detailed instructions, reference this link for a step-by-step process. Additionally, the MPP Migration Wizard in Control Hub is demonstrated in this video.

The Migration Wizard can be combined with the Not For Resale (NFR) program. Visit https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/partners/incentives/standard-not-for-resale.html for more details.

Last Day of Support will be provided for A-FLEX-E2MPP will be Oct 31, 2021
