Product overview

The Cisco Room Vision PTZ brings fluid, AI-powered camera pan-tilt-zoom, breathtaking image quality, simple deployment over IP and/or HDMI, and enterprise-grade management to uplevel any meeting, training, and community space.

AI camera tracking for meetings and presenters

The camera automatically tracks presenters on a large stage thanks to its wide mechanical pan-tilt range, captures meeting participants from the best angle, can zoom in on speakers seated furthest in the room, or provides camera tracking for large-screen deployments. With built-in AI, it provides studio-quality tracking and smooth transitions to create an inclusive experience for remote meeting or event attendees. Room Vision PTZ offers high frame rate and dynamic capture of a single or even multiple subjects in parallel, powered by silent, optical pan-tilt-zoom. It supports a fully integrated audiovisual experience combined with Cisco microphones and video devices to ensure precise tracking of active speakers in a meeting and smooth, cinematic switching in advanced multi-camera scenarios.

With the enhanced PresenterTrack experience, it’s more intuitive than ever to set up automated tracking for presenters, lecturers, and training facilitators using the touch controller. Or simply apply custom controls and create preset options for easy access in a session.

Radically simple deployment over IP

With the Room Vision PTZ, you can say goodbye to extenders, extra power adapters, cable clutter, and having to run electrical wiring close to the camera. The camera works plug-and-play with Cisco video devices over Ethernet resulting in less hardware to deploy, reduced installation costs, and simple maintenance. In addition, you can solve AV complexity caused by cable length and bandwidth limitations inherent in traditional HDMI or USB-based deployments.

The camera supports the PoE+ (IEEE802.3at compatible) network standards for optimum quality, high performance, and seamless integration while future-proofing your workspace deployment. Easy to scale and manage over the network, you can simply add more cameras to support multi-camera scenarios, including Cross-view, Extended Speaker View, Presenter and Audience, and custom AV integration.

Offering remote, unified cloud device management and diagnostics of your Cisco video devices, cameras, microphones and other peripherals in Control Hub, your IT admins can benefit from the simplicity of having a single management tool to monitor, remotely access, and analyze your room deployment.

Combined with secure media encryption and software upgrades, it helps to reduce the AV cost and complexity while protecting your technology investment.

Designed for the modern workplace

Available in stylish Carbon Black or Arctic White, the Room Vision PTZ is a discrete yet powerful device designed for unparalleled flexibility and convenience to support everyday meeting rooms, learning and community spaces, classrooms and lecture halls, and vertical deployments.

The camera accommodates your workspace’s interior design and offers mounting options for flexible placement on the wall or ceiling, while working with standard tripods and external mounting hardware. The premium aluminum housing, paired with its modern curved silhouette and crisp, clean lines, adds a touch of sophistication to any environment.

At the back of the device, intuitive access to interfaces and smart cable management keep everything simple and functional. It’s built for the circular economy with standardized product design, foam-free packaging, and smart power usage. Designed for the modern workplace.
