This section lists the following topics:
■ New Hardware Features in Cisco NX-OS Release 9.2(2v)
■ New Software Features in Cisco NX-OS Release 9.2(2v)
Cisco NX-OS Release 9.2(2v) supports the following hardware:
■ The Cisco Nexus 3432D-S (N3K-C3432D-S) is a 1 rack unit (RU) switch with 32 QSFP-DD+ ports, 2 SFP+ ports, 2 management ports, 1 console port, and 1 USB port. This switch supports both port-side exhaust and port-side intake airflow schemes. The switch requires one AC power supply for operation, but it can have a second power supply for redundancy.
Cisco NX-OS Release 9.2(2v) supports the following software features:
Interfaces Features
■ Added breakout support for the Cisco Nexus 3432D-S switches. Breakout enables a 100 and 400 Gigabit Ethernet port to be split into independent and logical Ethernet ports at module level or at the per-port level.
For more information, see the Cisco Nexus 3400-S NX-OS Interfaces Configuration Guide, Release 9.2(2).
Licensing Features
■ Introduced the following licenses for the Cisco Nexus 3408-S platform switches:
o Essentials subscription tier-based licenses: N3K-ES-XM-1Y, N3K-ES-XM-3Y, and N3K-ES-XM-5Y.
For more information, see the Cisco NX-OS Licensing Guide.
QoS Features
■ Priority Flow Control Pause Headroom – This feature allows you to override the default buffer space (headroom) size by configuring headroom values in an ingress queuing policy.
For more information, see the Cisco Nexus 3400-S NX-OS QoS Configuration Guide, Release 9.2(2).
Security Features
■ IP ACL:
o Added the ability to identify traffic using TCP flags.
o Added support for ifacl-all and racl-all TCAM regions.
o Added the ability to match RDMA and ECN bits with ACLs.
o Added UDF support to IPv6 PACL and RACL.
■ Per-Port Statictics: Added the ability to get per-port statistics when the same Ipv4 and IPv6 ACL is applied to multiple interfaces.
For more information, see the Cisco Nexus 3400-S NX-OS Security Configuration Guide, Release 9.2(2).
Unicast Routing Features
■ Neighbor Discovery Local Proxy on SVIs: Added support for IPv6.
For more information, see the Cisco Nexus 3400-S NX-OS Unicast Routing Configuration Guide, Release 9.2(2).
This section includes the following topics:

■ Guidelines and Limitations for the Platform
■ Guidelines and Limitations for Supported Transceivers
The N3400-S platform has the following guidelines and limitations:
■ 40G is not supported on the 100G LEM.
■ 2x50 G breakout on odd ports is not supported on 100 G LEM.
To determine which transceivers and cables are supported by this switch, see the Transceiver Module (TMG) Compatibility Matrix.
To see the transceiver specifications and installation information, see https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/interfaces-modules/transceiver-modules/products-installation-guides-list.html.
The following transceivers are supported on the N3K-C3408-S switch:
■ The following 400G transceivers are supported on 400G LEM:
o 400G 1M and 2M Molex
o 400G 1M, 2M, and 2.5M Luxshare
o 400G FR4 Innolight
o 400G DR4 Innolight
■ 100G 3M copper can take up to a maximum of 11 seconds to link up across 400G and 100G LEMs.
