Monitoring
Performance
The information in this chapter is in a new location. See Monitor Performance for the performance monitoring (PM) parameters and concepts that are defined for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) cards. PM parameters are used by service providers to gather, store, set thresholds, and report performance data for early detection of problems. This chapter also explains how to enable and view PM statistics.
