This configuration note provides additional information about your Cisco AON 8300 Series appliance.

Caution The two shipping brackets included with the server must be installed if you ship the rack cabinet after you install the server in the rack cabinet. Failure to install the brackets may result in damaged equipment during shipment.

Shipping Bracket Installation

Note The equipment shown in Figure 1 might differ slightly from your hardware.

Install a shipping bracket over the slide-rail pins at the rear of the slide rail and insert and tighten one M6 screw. Do the same for the other slide rail. See the Rack Installation Instructions that is included with your appliance for complete rack installation and removal instructions.
