Migrating from DCNM to ND

You cannot upgrade directly from DCNM 11.5(4) to Nexus Dashboard 4.2.1.Use this workflow instead to upgrade from DCNM 11.5(4) to Nexus Dashboard 4.2.1:

First upgrade from DCNM 11.5(4) to Nexus Dashboard 4.1.1 using the procedures provided in the "Migrating From DCNM to ND" section in Cisco Nexus Dashboard Deployment and Upgrade Guide, Release 4.1.x.
Then upgrade from Nexus Dashboard 4.1.1 to Nexus Dashboard 4.2.1 using the procedures provided in Upgrading a Nexus Dashboard 4.1.1 Cluster to This Release.

Note

There is a known issue where the Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator (NDO) app is disabled after upgrading from DCNM 11.5 to Nexus Dashboard 4.1.1. You will have to manually re-enable the NDO app before upgrading to Nexus Dashboard 4.1.1; otherwise, you will see an upgrade pre-check failure.
