This document describes the procedure to configure the email notification for specific node in the cluster.

The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
Lab Cluster Information
Customer has four nodes in the cluster:
Email notification for only Publisher node (10.106.99.195) in the cluster is required.
Step 1. Login to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Publisher node and navigate to OS Administrator.
Step 2. Navigate to Settings > SMTP
Step 3. Add the SMTP server IP/Hostname and click on Save.
Note: Ensure that the Host Status shows as "The SMTP server is available."
Step 4. Navigate to Cisco Unified CM Administration page.
Step 5. Navigate to Service Parameters.
Check that the Primary Collector is a Publisher node IP/hostname.
