1. Status Indicators (Color + Icon)

The conversion results use both color and icons to indicate the status of each command:

✓ Success (Green with checkmark)

Fully converted commands that match the rules in EMBEDDED_C1K_RULES（the variable for the conversion rules).

Example: hostname lswitch-c1000-example

⚠ Warning (Orange/Brown with warning sign)

Commands with partial matches or warnings (may require manual verification).

Example: service call-home

✗ Error (Red with X mark)

Commands that cannot be converted (no matching rules found, require manual handling).

Example: boot-start-marker

Accessibility Features:

  • Icons ensure status is conveyed even for color-blind users
  • All text meets WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements (4.5:1 minimum)
  • High contrast mode automatically adjusts colors and adds underlines

2. IOS Configuration Upload Requirements

To ensure accurate command conversion, the IOS configuration file must meet specific source and format requirements:

✓ Configuration Source

The configuration must be the full output of the "show run" command executed on IOS Catalyst switches.

Critical notes: Preserve all indented lines (indentation is part of the valid configuration structure) and do not modify any content in the original "show run" output (e.g., deleting, adding, or editing lines).

✓ File Format & Suffix

Save the unmodified "show run" output directly to a text file, with one of the following supported file suffixes:

.txt (Recommended), .cfg, .conf

After saving, upload the file to the tool directly—no additional compression (e.g., .zip, .rar) or formatting is required.

Common Upload Issues & Fixes:

  • If the tool rejects the file: Check if the suffix is one of the supported types (avoid .docx, .pdf, or other non-text formats).
  • If conversion results are incomplete: Verify that the "show run" output is full (not truncated) and indented lines are preserved.
