Description

Encountering the issue where a correlation search disappears, even though the associated Notable Event has fired. When trying to view the correlation search in Content Management, it shows "Search does not exist" and searching for the Notable Event yields no results.

Investigation

In a cluster environment, the correlation search is on a different search head, but the correlation search resides on another search head with app-level permission.
Upon reviewing the configurations, it was found that the saved search does not have its sharing permission set to "Global". This is causing the issue.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, recommended to change the saved search permission to "Global" so that ES can access and display the search in Content Management.
Kindly follow the steps:
Navigate to Searches, Report, and Alerts
Search "test correlation search"
Click Edit > Select Edit Permission
Select "All apps"
Click Save.
Now correlation search is able to be viewed in any search head in the clustered environment.
