Description

When attempting to clone Cloud Storage Blob inputs, the system incorrectly requests two parameters:

Number of Worker Threads
Amount of Blob in One Batch

These parameters were not part of the original configuration, yet the system still requires them, preventing users from successfully cloning the input.

Investigation

Upon attempting to clone an input in Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Cloud Services v5.4.2, the following error occurs:

Despite these parameters not being specified in the original input, the system fails to proceed without them. This behavior has been identified as a known issue in the add-on.

Resolution

This issue has been acknowledged as a known issue in the Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Cloud Services v5.4.2.

The fix is planned for an upcoming release, but there is currently no fixed timeline for its availability.

Issue should monitor Splunk's release notes for updates on the fix.
