Due to a change in the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) system software database implementation, the Monitoring and Troubleshooting (MnT) tables may grow too quickly. This condition can disrupt logging services like RADIUS, TACACS Live Logs, and Live Sessions, Reports, Dashboards.
This defect impacts regular and dedicated MnT nodes.
Multiple MnT tables were migrated to a SQL loader using direct path loading to improve performance. While this improved throughput, the change resulted in allocating table space above the expected threshold, which leads to uneven space utilization and segment-level fragmentation, eventually exhausting available table space and triggering allocation failures.
