||Some FPR1120 and FPR1140 Security Appliances May Be Incorrectly Labeled as FPR1150|
The rear panel of some Cisco Firepower 1120 and 1140 security appliances might be incorrectly labeled as a Firepower 1150 security appliance.
Affected FPR1120 and FPR1140 units shipped from 2019-10-31 through 2020-02-13. Some of these units might incorrectly show the silkscreen labeling of the FPR1150 security appliance on the rear panel.
Perform a visual inspection of the silkscreen labeling on the rear panel of the FPR1120 or FPR1140 security appliance. The issue affects the areas outlined in these images.
The correct silkscreen labeling is shown in this image.
The incorrect silkscreen labeling is shown in this image. Note that the SFP ports of the FPR1120 and FPR1140 are limited to 1Gbps per the data sheet specifications.
No action is required for customers with affected units.
This is a cosmetic issue only and there is no functional impact to the security appliance. Correct product information can be found on the compliance label located on the bottom surface of the security appliance or from the management CLI.
