The Cisco UCS M-Series Modular Server system features a 2-rack-unit (RU) chassis built on the innovative foundation of Cisco Virtual Interface Card (VIC) technology.
The chassis can hold up to eight completely independent M142 Compute Cartridges with two servers per cartridge (16 total servers per chassis).
