Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco MDS 9500 Series Supervisor-1 Module. The last day to order the Cisco MDS 9500 Series Supervisor-1 Module is September 27, 2007. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco MDS 9500 Series Supervisor-1 Module. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco MDS 9500 Series Supervisor-2 Module. The MDS 9500 Series Supervisor-2 Module delivers the latest advanced switching technology with proven Cisco MDS SAN-OS Software to power a new generation of scalable and intelligent multilayer switching solutions for storage area networks (SANs).
