NM-AM模块要求将单个模拟普通旧电话服务(POTS)线路插入端口。请确保POTS线路正常运行,方法是将电话连接到线路,并在将其插入NM-AM端口之前测试其来话和去话呼叫。
单个端口可以有单独的电话号码(在本例中,我们使用八个不同的电话号码),也可以在一个寻线组中有全部八个电话号码(电话提供商需要这样做)。 使用第一个选项,如果之前的呼叫仍连接在该特定号码上,用户会收到忙信号。使用第二个选项,呼叫会自动回滚到下一个可用端口。
请务必为带NM-AM模块的Cisco 2600和3600路由器使用正确接地的电源;否则,NM-AM调制解调器呼叫会发出蜂鸣声,表明其连接不良或失败。有关详细信息,请参阅文档在Cisco 2600系列和Cisco 3600系列路由器上安装接地片。
建议在NM-AM上使用最新固件版本。使用show modem version命令检查此情况。

show diag — 要显示路由器的硬件信息,请在特权EXEC模式下使用show diag命令。在线路号或接口号取决于插入NM或WIC的插槽的模块化路由器中尤其有用。

debug modem — 显示路由器上的调制解调器线路活动、调制解调器控制和进程激活消息。
debug ppp negotiation — 在协商PPP组件(包括链路控制协议(LCP)、身份验证和网络控制协议(NCP))时显示有关PPP流量和交换的信息。成功的PPP协商首先打开LCP状态,然后进行身份验证,最后协商NCP。
