Los Catalyst 4500/4000 Series Switches (que incluyen Catalyst 2948G y Catalyst 2980G) que ejecutan CatOS solamente admiten el trunking 802.1Q. Estos switches no admiten enlaces troncales ISL.

Los switches Catalyst 4000 con Supervisor Engine II+ o posterior ejecutan Cisco IOS Software de forma predeterminada. Estos switches admiten los modos de enlace troncal ISL y 802.1Q en todas las interfaces, excepto en los puertos Gigabit de bloqueo en los módulos WS-X4418-GB y S-X4412-2GB-T. Troubleshoot
Use esta sección para resolver problemas de configuración.
El Switch no Acepta un Cambio de VLAN Nativa en un Puerto Trunk porque el Puerto es un Puerto No 802.1Q
Este problema ocurre porque el puerto troncal no soporta la encapsulación 802.1Q. Una VLAN nativa requiere soporte 802.1Q en un puerto. Si el puerto no tiene soporte 802.1Q, el switch no permite un cambio de la VLAN nativa.
El soporte 802.1Q para el trunking es un factor dependiente del hardware. Ejecute el comando show port capabilities para verificar el soporte 802.1Q. La opción de encapsulación en la salida del comando show port capabilities establece el soporte 802.1Q para el trunking.
