  • CSCvp73840

Symptom: CSP-5228 hangs when trying to boot the Diagnostic image.

    Workaround: None

Release 6.0(1)

  • CSCve50599

Symptom: CPU stream test fails on the UCS C460 M4 server with the V4 CPU.

    Workaround: None

Symptom: The Server Diagnostic Utility does not discover the RAID adapter on the C3260 M4 server.

    Workaround: None.

Known Behaviors and Limitations

Release 6.2(3a)

  • CSCwc47058

Symptom: SDU boots to EULA screen on triggering F7 Diagnostics. Tests are not started automatically and snapshot file is not pushed to BMC.

    Workaround:

    Perform the following steps:

    1. Manually boot the SDU ISO.

    2. Start the quick test from the Quick Tasks tab.

You can view the results on the SDU GUI and download the results as a snapshot file.

To know more on how to download a snapshot file, see the Generating and Downloading Snapshot File section in Cisco UCS Server Diagnostics Utility User Guide.

  • CSCwc49231

Symptom: SDU 2.0 : SDU ISO size is more than 256 MB, does not fit on SDU partition in flexUtil.

    Workaround:

    1. Rename the ISO from ucs-cxxx-diag-<version>.iso to ucs-cxxx-scu-<version>.iso.

    2. Upload on the SCU partition and use the updated ISO.

Release 6.0(4)

  • CSCvo90058

Symptom: Number of DIMMs displayed in Server Diagnostics Utility (SDU) GUI is lesser than the actual populated numbers. This issue is observed on S3260 M5 platforms with 4.0(4b) Cisco IMC and BIOS firmware.

SDU CLI (server memory) is displaying the correct list of populated DIMMs.

Release 5.0(1)

  • CSCvc19881

Symptom: A traceback exception error is seen on the Non Interactive Server Diagnostic Utility. This happens when you use Python version 2.6.

Workaround: Use Python version 2.7 on the utility.
