Cisco MDS NX-OS Release Compatibility Matrix for Storage Service Interface Images
Date: December 21, 2012
Part Number: OL-9150-57
This document provides compatibility information between Cisco MDS NX-OS and Cisco MDS SAN-OS software releases, and Storage Service Interface (SSI) releases.
Note
As of NX-OS Release 4.1(1b), SAN-OS has been changed to NX-OS. References to SAN-OS releases before 4.1(1b) still apply.
Note
We recommend that you upgrade to the latest SSI image for your NX-OS release. This document identifies the latest recommended SSI image for NX-OS releases and the applications that are supported. For information on installing and upgrading your SSI image, see the Cisco MDS 9000 Family Release Notes for Storage Services Interface Images.
Note
For information on which SSI image is supported with a specific EMC Invista version, see the latest EMC Support Matrix available on EMC PowerLink.
Table 1 lists the supported SSI releases and the applications they support for Cisco NX-OS Release5.x.
