Manage the ASA using the Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM) (a single-device manager included on the device).

1. Install your chassis. See https://cisco.com/go/asa5506x-install and https://cisco.com/go/asa5506x-compliance.
3. Connect your browser to ASDM on one of the inside interfaces, GigabitEthernet 1/2 to 1/8: https://192.168.1.1/admin. Leave the username and password empty. Note: Change your privileged (enable) mode password after you log in on the Configuration > Device Setup > Device Name/Password page.
4. Choose Wizards > Startup Wizard and configure basic ASA settings.
5. Run other ASDM Wizards from the Wizards menu.
