Configure Domain Name via Soft Keys on the SPA300 and SPA500 IP Phones Series

Objectives

A device's domain name is seen by users when they connect to the device. Instead of seeing the device's IP address, the user sees the configured domain name. Domain names make devices easy to remember and find.

The objective of this document is to show you how to configure the domain name on the SPA300 and SPA500 Series IP Phones.

Applicable Devices

• SPA300 Series IP Phone.
• SPA500 Series IP Phone.

Domain Name

Step 1. Press the Setup button to open the Setup menu.

Step 2. Navigate to Settings.

Step 3. Navigate to Network Configuration.

Step 4. Navigate to Domain Name and press Edit.

Step 5. Enter the desired Domain Name and press OK.
