Introduction
This document describes how to control and revoke third-party app access in Microsoft 365 tenants using the Third-Party Apps Control feature.
Overview
Third-Party Apps report enables you to block and revoke authorization for risky plug-ins and extensions with OAuth-based access to your Microsoft 365 tenant. This helps you reduce risk by removing unauthorized or potentially harmful apps from your environment.
Access the Third-Party Apps Report
To view and manage third-party app authorizations:
- In the Umbrella dashboard, go toReporting > Additional Reports > Third-Party Apps.
Block Authorization for a Third-Party App
When you block a third-party app in the report:
- All existing authorizations for that app are revoked.
- Users are prevented from authorizing the app in the future.
Unblock App Authorization
You can unblock specific apps at any time:
- Remove the block on a specific app to allow users to authorize it again.
